Congratuations Andrea and Troy! Wedding Photos

Here are a few sneak peeks from Andrea and Troy's wedding a few weeks ago. It rained so hard all day. Road closures and flooding! We were beginning to get a little concerned. However, it turned out to be a lovely afternoon. We were all very thankful! They had a beautiful ceremony on a beautiful afternoon and I hope this is the start of a long and beautiful life together. Well, we are the very proud parents to several new baby chicks!! (21 to be exact!) They are so cute and growing very fast! Luke is really enjoying them and has named his favorite, Joey. (I really think they are all his favorites :) Our Lab, Riley, has designated himself as the official chick guardian and protector. He even sleeps next to their little coop. I guess nothing says Spring like cute, fuzzy baby chicks!!! We are looking forward to those pretty brown eggs later this Summer!!

Hello everyone. We had a great time on our camping trip. We were blessed to be able to relax and really enjoy ourselves for a few days. The weather was gorgeous. We had lots of good friends there and made some new ones as well. Luke had some friends from school to play with. The boys caught fish, rode bikes, cut firewood, built fires, made smores.... (they even camped together "by themselves" in a tent, this was a big adventure!! but Mom and Dad made sure they could see them out the RV window :)...sorry boys.... I like my mattress!!) Lots and lots of good wholesome fun!! Even the dogs had a blast as you can see from one of the pictures!! This the type of vacation we enjoy. No tv's, no cell phones, just family, friends and the beautiful outdoors.
